Because a country uses hunting to support conservation does not mean that the hunting taking place is beneficial.  In some cases it is in others not.

La la pointed out (geez I need to stop doing that) nature left to it's own devices will balance it's self out.  Mans growth and encroachment have screwed up that balance and culling is needed.

Fishing for sharks, sail fish (I don't think people eat them do they) does not help the ecosystem.

Beat an animal in front of a police station. Kick a police dog. You will find out just how many "rights" they have.

You are the only one talking about animals vs humans. I am talking about seeking alternatives through technology, which you obviously do not support.
Yeah, I remember that police dog that bit an airline employee in the face because she tried to pet him. An old saying goes that if you want to get away with a crime, do it in plain sight of a police station. I would never intentionally harm an animal just for the record.

Since this thread is titled Animal vs Human rights it is what I am talking about. I support all alternatives, including stem cell, but you still need humans and animals to test the technological alternative.

An Oklahoma police officer shot and killed a family’s dog and later laughed about it to a responding animal control unit, reports claim.

On Wednesday, Ardmore resident Sarah Jo Ellen Brown reportedly arrived home to news that her family’s pit bull dog “Cali” was dead.
“When the owner, Sarah, got there, the officer said, ‘We shot your dog, she’s dead,” a Change.org petition launched in Cali’s honor states.

According to multiple sources, Ardmore Police Sergeant Brice Woolley responded to a call regarding a dog that had escaped and was wandering the neighborhood.

“I’m not waiting for animal control,” Sgt. Woolley allegedly stated as he grabbed his shotgun to confront the doomed pooch.

As pictures show, Sgt. Woolly, who works the day shift patrol in Ardmore, next shot the dog, killing it immediately. “She had done nothing to provoke the officer,” the Change petition, which has been signed over 2,900 times, notes.

“Did you see her collar fly off when I shot her? That was awesome,

Try to 'pet' a cop, its called simple assault. The Airline employee should have known better.

Sounds like an idiot to me.  Sometimes the price of stupid is expensive.

Actually, she was a friend of the handler, who said it was OK. Unbeknownst to her, the dog had issues. She sued, won but still scarred.

NEXT!

A police dog is NOT a pet, it is a working dog. Why would anyone think it was OK to pet a dog that is trained to take people down?
