Pan Am to Open San Juan to Santa Domingo, Dominican Republic Route
Service Will Also Connect Orlando to D.R.''s Largest City
PORTSMOUTH, N.H., Sept. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Beginning October 31, 2002 Pan
American Airways will begin scheduled passenger service between San Juan,
Puerto Rico and Santa Domingo, Dominican Republic. The Santa Domingo service
will also include a one stop flight from the Orlando Sanford International
Airport.
Dan Fortnam, Pan Am''s Vice President for Marketing and Sales said, There
is a strong commercial connection between San Juan and the Dominican
Republic''s largest city Santa Domingo. We have has a significant amount of
passenger interest in this service so we are thrilled to be getting it started
this fall. In addition, we anticipate a high volume of holiday traffic on this
route and would urge passengers to book early if they plan on traveling during
this season.
The San Juan-Santa Domingo service will operate on Tuesdays and Sundays,
with a 3:00 pm departure from San Juan and a 5:15 pm return from Santa
Domingo. Orlando passengers will depart at 11:00 am.

Two day a week. Thats an attack? They have scaled back there grand plans for the new Domincan airline, and Caribbean hub in Santo Domingo.

OK?.....The Poor Pan Am name...she should have died a peacefull death with some dignity..It is next to imposible to touch AA in the carib/ S.and Cent. America..I am not loosing sleep over this Blue attack..now the other baby Blue is another story...................
