I got an email today from an old school friend, who said he heard that a Canadian Helicopter was in his area working.I know that midwest were there once. I wonder if they are still there,as I heard that their Kmax they had is gone from Alberta.

I did hear that Wayne was trying to get the K-Max up and running again. I believe he is still operating out of mexico. As for the K-Max I would imagine it is still grounded, possibly sitting in a hangar.

Last I heard the K-M was in the USA on a forestry contract...they were looking for a driver and a wrench back in June....check Aeroads web.....

I thought they were having problems getting the machine operational in regards to maintenance. But the aeroads does add up as I sent a reply to them with the name of a high time canadian K-max pilot....but I know this guy worked for wayne before. Don't know, I guess someone will just have to ask.

I saw one of Wayne's Kmax's in Winnipeg a few months ago at the Flightcraft Maintenance Hanger, I personlly looked at it. In addition it also had an "N" tail number on it, but still in the old Midwest colours.......

Heard Abitibi has a B-3 down there and Venture has a 205...both on seismic...rumors are some problems getting in and getting paid so same old mexico...

I just got back off a B2 in Mexico for PGS. It wasn't not too bad, lost of issues with the Mexican politics but that is to be expected..
and yes there is a B3 there and more to come

Bet that Mexican B-2 will start to look alot better as the winter draaaggs on.... 🙄

after seeing the remnants of a couple aircraft that made it back (on a truck actually) from mexico, I hope they are getting mucho peso's for the work they are doing, and have lots of water to wash those aircraft down. The corrosion can be a real profit burner....

well, I was very imperssed with what we were supplied with........ if you would like some shots of our heli pad and wash exuipment.... all supplied by the client.....
makes canadain seismic look pretty bad...... I would be pleased to send you some.
