AWA was close to Bankruptcy

If you want the "Healing" to begin then you have to unite against your enemy. Your enemy is not your brethren from the "other" airline. Your enemy is the Moneylenders & Bean Counters who care not one wit for you or I!

They honestly don't care if you or I are happy for 30 seconds of our lives as long as they make money off of us. When that stops, they will then at least act interested.

This is the way life is when you're the Screwee instead of the Screwor.
These words need to be put on a brass plate, mass produced, and sent to every consumer and every worker in America.

Now just be sure that your attorney presents this fact during the arbitration hearings. Didn't matter then, doesn't matter now. I like the kool aid on the East that thinks they wouldn't have filed Chapter 7 in October 2005. That, in fact, there was a secret white knight. I'm sure it would've happened.

Um, actually there were two other groups in the mix for merger. AWA just happened to have the highest kickbacks to the executives though worst prospects for survival.

Even, IMO, the worst, was going to split off the Shuttle and maybe split International. In any case, fragmentation and employees would have gone with the equipment in any downsize. No chapter 7. Sorry that you are so wrong.

Operation Zanzibar simply confirms what I was told about AWA before the merger announcement.

Saying they were both doomed is revisionist history. One was bankrupt for the second time and one was not.

These are the facts, and they are undisputed.

If USAir hadn't bought PSA out west and dissolved them America West would have never been around. So all you koolaid drinkers shut your pieholes and get off your high horse. We merged together to save each other!

Bankrupt is a term that is obviously well beyond your ken.

It is common knowledge, even with google, that bk2 had nothing to do with crisis and everything to do with going back to get more from the unions. Even Glass said that bk2 had nothing to do with survival and everything to do with scamming more that Siegel left on the table (the reason Siegel was fired).

IMHO, there was never, anything, doomed, about US. They have always showed a profit on an operational level.

Do your homework before spouting BS. Please.
