That's because you have no respect or knowledge of the COTUS and the men who created it. Not surprising really as we've created several generations who think there is nothing wrong in suckling at the Government tit.

Other than the fact that they point out that anyone with half a brain uses the Tax Code to their advantage. Farm Subsidies are usually in the form of a tax credit.

Also who is Paul Bachmann? Her husband is named Marcus? Guessing it her now dead father in law? Further if she was elected to Congress in 2006 so her term started 2007. Assuming she is in some way related to this Paul Bachmann somehow the amount of subsidy taken since then is not even $7,500.00

$259,000 over 15 years taken by some guy with the same last name over a 15 year period as compared to Cargill, ADM, Conagra taking hundreds of MILLIONS in farm subsidies. I thought it was the small family farmer was the darling of the Liberal/Progressive crowd, what with Farm Aid Concert going into its 25th year now.

So I'm guessing that it's OK to be a small oppressed, distressed Family Farmer right up until you're a relative of Michele Bachmann (If in fact the recipient is even related)? Is that how it works? Only Progressive and Corporate Farmers get subsidies??? WELL IS IT????

There does seem some strange effect that the left believes. The belief that Obama has all the votes already and the contenders on the right will somehow have to steal those votes away from him. At the end of the day everyone will have a choice on election day to continue under Obama administration or not. The reality is he himself has to compete for those same votes and his record isn't very compelling. Last November seemed to be a warning shoot across the bow of the administration. Plus all the polls showing a generic unamed republican polling higher then Obama tells a lot as well.

It would be like me accepting a donation from the Catholic Church. Speaking out against premarital sex while getting knocked up out of wedlock. Advocating environmental causes while living in a Mc-mansion. It's called hypocrisy. Why is this so difficult to understand? If you accept money via donation or subsidy then you are associated with how you got it.

No one is saying it was illegal so throwing that out is not going to change the fact. The farm that she has a financial stake in accepted federal money which she is speaking out against.
