Does anyone remember a week in which so many things went wrong for the President?

Specifically, I mean:

-Miers withdrawing
-Libby indictment
-mounting casualities in Iraq
-FEMA screw up before that...
-the list goes on and on

Thoughts?

It must be bad. This place used to have plenty of righties, but it looks like its got so bad it finnaly shut them up.

The righties can dish it but they can't take it.

Remember the Caine they raised about Clinton's illicit affair and his lie about it? He lied about a personal event but the Bush Whitehouse looks like it is about to implode with all the lies it has told.

Reminds me of a quote from Lincoln, "you can fool some of the people some of the time and all of the people some of the time but you can't fool all of the people all of the time".

What really galls me is the lack of aggressiveness from the democrats and the meda. They should be bit$ch slapping Bush.

Well, It looks like from thier stunt yesterday they are gonna try....

We'll see. I think the dems and the media suffer from esteem issues. I think they'll be shouted into submission. Though, I hope not.

I wonder just how many Son's & Daughters of the House and Senate are in Iraq?

I think only one.

Reminds me of a scene from Farenheit 911 when Micheal Moore approaches a congressman and chats him up but when Moore asks if he would encourage his service age kids to enlist he gave an "ARE YOU CRAZY?!?" look and hustled off.

The middle east are not our friends unless they need something. Watch how insignificant they will become if this country ever switches from fossil fuel to hydrogen. In the next ten years, a dozen nuclear reactors will come online. By then, Hydrogen will power our cars. It will be exciting to see the change and get off of their grid while watching them blow each other up because we have no longer have "national security" interests in that area anymore.

We can let Europe deal with them.

Funny thing is, Europe is WAY ahead of us as far as energy conservation is concerned.

Somebody has to. I think he's missing the point though. Neither major party in this country looks out for the people unless the people are ready to burn Washington down. I find it rather entertaining that both the left and the right complain when the other fails. 😛

???????? Complaining? But, sir, you miscontrue. We are reveling in schadenfreude--( SHAH den FROID uh) from the German, literally Shade Joy. It means taking guilty pleasure in the misfortune of others. I.e., I laugh when YOU slip on a banana peel, and vice versa, of course.
