Jim Issel stood near the US Airways baggage carousel, looking at a bare, motionless metal circle.

The Hockessen, Del., resident is used to standing near US Airways baggage-handling equipment. Living a half-hour from Philadelphia International Airport, he's in the air at least a couple times each month and, since Philadelphia remains a US Airways hub, when he flies, he uses the carrier.

guess a lot of bags were left off due to weight and balance and headwinds...problem is they dont tell the pax they are doing this...then there's the pathetic delivery service in LAS...12 hrs for delivery!!!
