Think you have to connect through CLT on the weekends and SJU weekdays, usually loads suck in the summer to have a non-stop.I see where there is no usair metal to barbados.Several weeks ago there was a daily a-320.I checked in december and still no service. What happened???
Right now just down to Saturday flights CLT-BGI.
CLT-BGI increases to Sat/Sun on June 4, and Saturday PHL-BGI resumes on June 10.
Daily CLT-BGI was reduced to the current schedule on May 6. It's a seasonal reduction. They tried daily last year, but it was unsuccessful.
As said, US offers daily codeshare service to BGI through SJU on partner Caribbean Sun.
Caribbean Sun went out of business🙂

Isn't Liat an Italian Car Manufacturer?Caribbean sun has shut down. Caribbean Star is merging with LIAT. I have heard that they are trying to work out a new codeshare with, Liat star of the Caribbean. 🙄
WIth hubs in ANU and BGI and the loss of a large amount of SJU connecting service perhaps ANU and BGI might make a comeback, I don't know but why pusue a codeshare with a company whose hubs you visit once a week. Maybe BGI or ANU might see an increase in service if an agreement is signed.
I am just looking for some updated information on this thread. Does anyone know if US has any plans to offer nonstop service PHL-BGI, particularly in July?

The info about Caribbean Star/Sun and LIAT is interesting...but a little help with my original question about PHL-BGI nonstops would be appreciated
The info about Caribbean Star/Sun and LIAT is interesting...but a little help with my original question about PHL-BGI nonstops would be appreciated -- are they in the cards for this summer or will US continue to limit their BGI nonstops to CLT-BGI?
If the codeshare happens the odds of a PHL-BGI go up. As of right now I would say no.
Of couse only the May schedule is final so it is not impossible for later in the summer.
Thanks for the Correction. Its been about 20 years since I seen one, just like those le cars. Small like a Mini-Cooper but not as fun as one. Just got to find a windy road without potholes.FIAT is the Car Manufacturer. We still have lots of those in Poland so I know.
LIAT I believed stands for Leeward Islands Air Transportation
