I've been trying to get some benefit info to the right people and the address printed off the Hub still has a Crystal City address on it and NO fax number. I've emailed theHubs website administrator as well as sending 2 emails to Benefits (and NO You dont respond within 2 business days as per the auto email sent to me.... see it isnt just the customers they dont respond to 🙄 ), anyway, since I know Tempe reads this board, PLEASE get someone to update the website and the US AirwaysBenefit specific website that only has an email address (that again, no one responds to). If you are going to try to get the info out, please update it. I tried calling Benefits also and the phone just rings. I know they are busy, and probably still in the process of getting settled, so someone in Tempe make it easy on all of us and get some updated info online ASAP. Thanks.

(And before someone comments about it being posted on here and not sent to "the right person" to get it corrected, if Benefits doesnt even answer their own emails, how do you expect someone else (who, I have no clue) in charge to get something done about it. Maybe some of our resident Tempe people know who to contact.)

Unfortunately, they haven't updated our site, either. Their only contact is listed as the e-mail address Employee.Benefits@americawest.com
Try that perhaps with usairways.com if you haven't tried. In the past when I have needed to talk to them, I have had to go to headquarters and to their cubicles. I don't think they want anyone to contact them. When I've done that, you would have thought I cr@pped on the floor.

Thanks for the help guys (and girls). I finally went to Admin today to see if they could help. This was something that I shouldnt have to bother them about, but no one else seems to know where to get the number. She called someone who had voicemail on. She called another number she had, "we dont do East people" was the reply, call the old US number. Finally someone who gave me a "try this" fax number. I guess I'll know in a couple of weeks if it was the right fax number or if some poor SOB in Moline has all my personal info now.
It really shouldnt be this hard guys. Whomever is in charge of Human Relations/Benefits needs a swift kick in the behind to get some things updated (or even listed to begin with.) I agree with barbee, I dont think they want to be contacted.
And per the auto reply email, they have 1 more day to get back with me.... I'm holding my breath. 😛h34r:

This was the response I received from an email sent on May 22 AND June 1. Today is the 4th with no response received still. The phone rings and rings with no answer every time I've tried it. Who (doesnt) respond to emails there?

Your inquiry was successfully received. We will respond to your request within two business days. If you require additional information, please contact us at http://usairways.benefitcenter.com or contact the US Airways Benefit Center at 1-800-577-1067, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, excluding holidays. Thank you. US Airways Benefit Center

Well I finally got the info I needed along with a big packet denying the benefit I was trying to register. Seems that the forms on theHub are outdated  and incomplete  so Benefits had to send me a package with the correct form in it (along with their phone, fax, and address. On their dime.) Now I'm just waiting on hold to try to get some clarification. I have an hour until they close. Anyone think I'll get thru in time before they go home? 😛
Oh, and still no response from them via email.

UPDATE THE BENEFITS WEBSITE, OK?

The Benefits dept is a total joke. I dont know if they only have a couple of people to work the entire system, or if they are totally buried in work, but I can never get thru to them via email or phone. Just kinda shows where we employees fall into the pecking order of the company.

Finally made it thru. Only 45 minutes on hold. Not too bad. 😉

Perhaps you should just bombard this guy since the buck stops with him:

Mr. John M. Hedblom
Vice President, Human Resources
US Airways, Inc.
Tempe, AZ

I searched my professional listings and the only professional who is a benefits manager at US Airways is working at Piedmont.

Sorry.

I suspect he is well insulated against anyone trying to contact him. I just sent off my 4th email in the past 14 days with no response to any of them. I dont have the time or patience to wait on hold for more than 30 minutes.

Well I'm very sorry about that. In my company, I have a rule about that. We get back to you and acknowledge your request within 24 hours. Then we keep you updated on the progress every 48 hours so you know we are working on it.

But I don't work for US Airways. I feel for you as that is not how I run my HR department at my company.
