Best Company(s) To Work For

Great Slave Helicopters= Awsome!
Yellohead Helicopters= Awsome!
Alpine Helicopters= Awsome!

Great Lakes in the early 70's was a good company to work for

Kenting in the late 70's was a hoot

TCPL without the politics was okay

Remote was pretty good to me

Now I understand Mustang finally has weeded out the deadwood and is back to being a preferred company again.

Just my 2 cents.....

I guess that depends on your definition of "deadwood"! Are you talkin management or field people?!

I'm finding it interesting that there is little/no representation of the small operators out there.

Factors as to why???

- things aren't as rosy as they seem??
- computer access is limited??
- the world wide web isn't reaching as far as it should??
- small operators are so busy nobody has the time to come here??

Who knows really, there could be a zillion bagillion reasons for it. The only thing for certain is that the big companies pull in the headlines for good and bad topics.

Why doesn't Yellowhead qualify as a small operator? Small operators don't get as much exposure because of their size. Don't forget that the season isn't quite over yet for some of us "small operators". You might see more responses later in the season. 😀

Yellowhead falls under the 'little representation' category versus the 'no representation' category.

There are just so many small operators out there, alot of 'mom and pop' type operations that one would assume should be the best places to work, but we basically never hear of them. I wish we would.

Speak up if you work for a small operator and give your two cents worth. I promise we're not out to get your wonderful jobs. (we only want some cushy government job to set up our retirement plans)

Peace was the best! (Pre Northern Mountain) I've contracted arount lots of companys trying to find that magic again, now i've found it at MUSTANG!!!
There you go hurting my feeling again. If it was so bad under the influence of "the green slime", as NMH was referred to by many at the time, how come you came back and had such a good time? I think many people have a tendency to be a little too nostalgic and forget the bad stuff... perhaps a human defense mechanism. I must say you're the eternal optimist though, everywhere you go is the place to be!!!

p.s. Whatever happened to that apprentice we called "Smashed Face Charlie Sheen"? Remember the guy who had to buy beer every time he even looked at the machine?

Seeing as my flight school has ties to VIH, what are they like to work for? I know my chances getting in with them are slim, but curious non the less. They seem like a great bunch of folks from what I've seen. Surprised no one's mentioned them yet. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing lol.
Thanks
