Now all they have to do is get airlines to sign up for it.

On paper, it looks to be a fantastic airplane. I'm sure a $110 oil has taken a bite out of the capital expenditure budgets at most major airlines.

For those carriers that DO worry about domestic flying, coupled with the price of(NEVER to be cheap AGAIN) Oil, and NO signal from Boeing/AirBus(yet) to offer similiar products, it sure...looks like Bombardier/Embraer will be getting a LOT of Business !

I will say again, AA should have kept those TWA 717's and they would now be a long way ahead of the game with the 100 seat airplane. It was a lot better aircraft than anything that Bom-Bon-Bombardier can/will ever come up with.

Yes it does look like a good airplane, on paper of course. I for one hope airlines sign up for it. Right now Embraer preety much has a monopoly with the EMB-170/190. It would be good for the airlines for there to be a little competition.

I agree 100%. AA should have chcuked the F100 and kept the 717's. Instead of chucking the 717 and then a couple years latter dumping the F100.

Absolutely! AA would be much better off with the more efficient 717's, particularly if they had accepted TW's whole order. They could be retiring MD-80's at this point.

This is great news for KCI and my hometown. Wow! When was the last time aircraft were actually manufactured there? The B-25s at Fairfax in WWII? However, I thought Bombardier had given the C-Series up for dead. What made them change their minds? That and I thought the company was moving work to Mexico as well. Sadly!

Doesn't AA still have 4 F100's in the desert? When I was in TUL for personal business I saw 3 parked at TUL (2 Were painted in Ocean Air Colors, and one in the plain AA minus the Red Decals and the logo
