There you have it, the new routes for winter 2002, so far. Some talked about already. Here's the round-up:
MIA-PUJ starts 1Nov02; daily 752
JFK-LRM starts 15Dec02; Saturday-only 752
JFK-SJO starts 15Dec02; Monday 752 and Saturday A300
MIA-CLT starts 15Dec02; daily M80
BOS-LAS starts 15Dec02; 5x weekly 752
RDU-SJU starts 15Dec02; daily 738
LGA-RSW starts 21Dec02; 2 flights each Saturday M80
BOS-CUN starts 01Feb02; Saturday/Sunday 738
MIA-LAS starts 02Mar02; daily 752
RDU-SJC starts 02Mar02; daily 738
The trend is clear, leisure routes rule in 2003, which is good news for MIA and JFK. Of the above routes, only MIA-CLT and RDU-SJC are not leisure routes. In addition, added service on the following markets:
MIA to BZE, SXM*, DTW, YYZ*, BDL, BOG*, and STI
JFK to PLS*, PUJ, SXM*, and STT*
*Seasonal service increases

Its good to see AA start some Central American flying out of NY (JFK-SJO). SJO is a hub for Grupo Taca which offers great connections thruout Central America.
