Oh who gives a sh$%....it's been over a year now, get a life or get therapy all of you who belabor this point. HP is dead, and so is the old US. Old HP is running the show, old US has the majority in size. So you both have one up on each other. As far as who bought whom, it doesn't matter anymore, it's a done deal.

Try to focus your energy on trying to fix what's broken and make your work lives happier (I know not an easy task). If you can't get over this, get help, or get a new job. This east vs. west thing is getting old and tired. It's not like if you keep bitching, they'll get a divorce!!

The former East Management didn't want to Run an airline, remember "...I would rather be golfing". While we're on the topic of US Airways rumors, anyone heard anything about the possibility of US corporate moving from the Sand Castle to CLT? This was mentioned to me by two different people (neither in the industry, one a reporter for an RDU radio station). I figured a topic would have already been under discussion here, but I guess not.

Personally, I can't think of a good reason why US would move their HQ to CLT. As I said, it was just a rumor and I wanted to see if anyone else had heard the same thing as I did. My guess would be that since CLT is in the running for the OCC, an illogical connection was made to the entire HQ moving there.

It's not the HQ, but operations such as schedulers and I thought dispatch.

I keep running into folks that just CANNOT or WILL NOT let this "we bought US" stuff die. I tell them the same thing ..... MOVE ON!

There are pilots, FAs and gate folks that use their old IDs still. :down:

I say we need to support what we have now and look to the future.

As for UAL? We're not finished cleaning house now. we don't need that monstrosity
