Agnew
OK what was he convicted of?
fined for income tax evasion............... [/quote]
Sorry to be a stickler, but Agnew was never convicted of anything. He pleaded no lo contendere on the failure to report income charges. The interesting thing was that the AG could only trace $10,000 of a reported $300,000 in kickbacks.

But going back on topic, Bronner has put himself in a severe ethical and legal breach. If US goes under and he loses the entire investment, he may face civil and criminal interest.

and if he says Siegel can get it done, then he has all my support.
You are going to make yourself into a whipping boy for these boards if you keep posting such remarks. :p

Actually, Agnew said it, but Safire wrote the speech.
