Pit ...show your pride. The Steelers have done great this year and you should be proud of them. Don't let the company tell you that you can't. are they going to send you all home and close for the day? Last year when the Panthers flew out of CLT everyone had on team logo items. The aircraft was surrounded by people with banners and the jetway was lined with employees wearing Panther gear. Flight Attendants and pilots were taking pictures from the aircraft. Heck they were wearing jerseys and shirts. But what airline did they get on......USAirways. Again, show your pride but be respectful.

Thinking about this has really irked me even more.  Why not play up the Steelers being in the playoffs?  Signs on the concourse "Welcome to Steeler Country", help organize a tailgate party for the employees to boost morale and ensure they come to work on game day.  Employees decked out in Steeler attire wouldn't hurt a thing, costs the company nothing and is a shot in the arm for employee morale.  Why couldn't they have done the same type of things in PHL for the Eagles Games? 

WAKE UP CCY!  IT IS TIME TO THINK OUTSIDE OF THE BOX AND REWARD YOUR EMPLOYEES!  Allowing some Steeler Spirit at the ATO costs you nothing.

This is just a shame. No thought into this by managment. Not only a morale booster but a public morale, positive media blitz booster for a town that supported U for many, many, many years.

...And we all know how bad morale is at Southwest, right? What's also lost here, I think, is the fact that most of your customers in Pittsburgh are going to be Steelers fans, and visible signs of support for the home team give the impression that you're the "hometown airline." How much do you want to bet that you're going to see WN employees at PIT dressed in Steelers jerseys and hats next fall, especially given their sponsorship of the NFL? Heck, Southwest even gives prizes for costumes and decorated gate areas at Hallowe'en -- and look at all the money they're losing!
