Bears, a few questions, Does every state resident make over $25K a year and do they ALL have Health Insurance? Are there Trailer Parks in New Hampshire? Does every state resident ALWAYS vote for a DEM? Lastly, do you always act like a 'Northern' Redneck? Just curious 🙂 Take this with a very small grain of salt!

I have no love for unions. Worked with them for 10 years while at American and they are as useful as tits on a bull as far as I am concerned. They have turned unskilled jobs into careers. There is no reason a FA or auto assembly line worker should be making the kind of money that they are making. I know I was/am getting screwed over by the company. No reason I need to pay the union dues to screw me over as well.


We do not live in the 1700's where child labor laws and safety are issues. I do believe that for the most part the market should dictate what salaries should be. I don't see a problem with having state/fed regulations on minimums for certain services but to allow a union to hold a company for ransom just because they want a larger pay check. I know if I were a business owner I would be a bit ticked off. I know that if I owned a business I want to be able to dictate who works for me and who does not. I decide who gets paid what, not you.

What are astronimical profits? Everyone b1tches about the oil compaines but when I looked at the numbers they were making about 10% on the investment. That does not seem out of line. My beef is not with their profit but that they are gettign a free ride with defending their investments from the US military.

Great post, i agree on all points. Unions today are largely worthless and exist to support the self serving agenda of the people running them.

I'm just sick of always hearing (from Limbaugh, or in this case from reading my ol' pal.....dell) that ALL the ....L. I. V. (Low info. voters) are Dems.
And, long time contributor.........' Tree .............has been hammering home the following point for a looooooooong time, when he correctly says......." it's mind boggling when people vote Against thier Own self Interests ",.......and he's 1000% correct !
