She was a 1981 graduate of Moon High School and a 1985 graduate of Purdue University with a BS in Aviation Technology. She was a proud pilot for Southwest Airlines and a former pilot for US Airways. She was a member of the Sharon Community Presbyterian Church, Southwest Airlines Pilots Association and ISA 21-(Organization of Professional Female Airline Pilots).
She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert A. Bermann; her cherished parents, John and Dorothy (Beall) Devey of Moon Township; loving mother of Samantha and Alexa Ciccone and Lindsey and Hannah Bermann all of Moon Township; sister of Cindy Grambo and her husband Larry of Sewickley; daughter-in-law of Bill and Jan Bermann of Glen Ellyn, Ill.; sister-in-law of Bruce Bermann and his wife Nancy of Wauconda, Ill., and Jane McGrath and her husband Pat of Lisle, Ill.
