Change for Tulsa

The topic here is Change for Tulsa!

What a crock!

This whole union is about Tulsa. Since TUL has the mere numbers to vote in any contract, the rest of us are screwed.

Burchette and Co. would allow AA to get rid of all the line stations before TUL is touched. He would then make sure no "line" mechanics would be allowed to bump into TUL.

One may say, well, Burchette, is just protecting his members.

So what does this mean? This means only TULSA MATTERS.

Hopeful, I agree with you but there’s more to the big picture.

I’m not here to defend Tulsa or slam Tulsa. I know Tulsa has the voting power to swing the vote anyway they want.

The TWU has used scare tactics for years on Title II to get the vote they wanted. It’s clear by the numbers below that Title II is swinging this vote by far. These numbers below are also parallel to card drive numbers.

Tulsa vote count for 2003 was as follows.

3998 yes and 1869 no for a difference of 2129.

Title I vote count for 2003 was as follows.

6250 yes and 6173 no for a difference of 77.

Title II vote count for 2003 was as follows.

1272 yes and 459 no for a difference of 813.

Title IV vote count for 2003 was as follows.

101 yes and 15 no for a difference of 86.

Possibly tugged at, but never blindly pulled...
Better watch out, team Bubba might put you in "bad standing" for thinking for yourself.

You must be loyal to the twu International, that is the twu way.

How about yours

Weber Grill, made by American workers from US components.

Looks like I might be more of a union man than you are, TFC.

How many times have ANY of you seen a twu member, go into a supervisors office, on a attendance "discussion"..WITHOUT a shop steward ????

How many times have you seen "that" individual get CORN HOLED by management, then make the assinine statement that "the union did'nt do #### for me" ?????

The answers my friends are, that WE have all seen both scenarios !!

AND

FM has put guys on "steps" because some A$$ HOLE was in his office...."bareassed"

You must have me confused with someone else. I never had any "corrective" discussions without a shop steward present, or in the case of agents, a witness of the employee's chosing. It's a waste of time to even have the discussion if it's just going to be thrown out during the grievance process.

When was the last time you paid union dues.

That would be the last time you were more union than I.

I actually was going to buy a Weber but decided it wasnt worth the money. Went with a Char Broil with cast iron burners side burner and more grilling area than a weber.

If I wasnt making 1980 Wages in the year 2000 I would have been able to afford the Weber and not thought twice about who made it.

Pfft, that's a good one. I'd be more inclined to believe you might be a pink fairy with blue polka dots. Then again, the head twu International sell-out Jimmy Do-little is a compAAny union man also.

Huh, too bad many of your former cronAAies don't remember this. Of course, the compAAny likes to waste money on pointless arbitrations just because they enjoy trying to break people . Watching moronic compAAny attornies waste money and lose cases just because they want to prove a point. Always amazes me the lengths they will go.

Exactly!

NHBB us Northerners dont have much to crow about anymore when it comes to unionisim.

You in particular Bob have no right to talk about unionism. Not when you say things like "So tell me, why shouldnt line mechanics hope to see all OH outsourced to third world countries? They would see their pay go up and the inferior work they put out in those foreign countries would drive up OT."
