Grandma is making $10/hr...half of what state workers are making at that facility. She can't make it on 10 bucks an hour, that's why she's collecting $300 in food stamps. What I'm pointing is that it's not only airlines....AA...that are looking to outsource, no matter what the experience level the outsourced workers have. Same goes for TIMCO and China. It really comes down to wages and benefits. As long as the rates TIMCO charges AA is less than it costs AA to pay YOU and ME in wages and benefits.....it's a no brainer Buck.

In my opinion corporations through their lobbying efforts have promoted illegal immigration in order to lower wages, plain and simple. It's by design not by mistake. If I was president I would send Mexico and all the other countries sending their illegals here....the bills. Building a fence or simply enacting legislation prohibiting illegal employment by slapping companies with fines doesn't work. The only way is to send those counties the bills. And, that's far fetched as well. The politicians are not working for middle class workers....they are in the pockets of too big to fail corporations.....and it's all part of a network to squash and squeeze the middle class into poverty. Republicans are at the heart of this push and Dems just like taking unions money and not doing a thing for US. WE will be better off only when the American people get off their arses and change the political system in this country. Legislation through corporate lobbying efforts have killed the american worker. And, the unions are as much to blame as the companies. Show me where COPE has benefitted the workers???? But, our members keep donating to COPE, why???????
NOthing is going to change the course of the One Worlders. And if you believe that the Republicans are the bad guys, you need to dig a little deeper. The bad guys are both parties. What good would it do to bill people that cannot pay? If we are expecting those countries to pay their bills, I wonder what the Chinese Govt. would have to say. I did say it was both parties, but republicans will tell it to your face that they're anti-worker, anti-union, anti-regulations, flat-tax advocates that help the greedy bastard fat cats. The dems just go with the flow, tell what you want to hear, money grabbers that are more typical of do nothing labor organizations like the TWU. So, we're screwed either way. Like I said Buck, it's by design.....so is the Euro situation, tarp, stimulus packages....it's all to help the rich. The occupiers are wasting their time. What is needed are general strikes like in europe, and some violence in the affluent streets, not main street.
