Civil war next for Pakistan?

A possibility. However, I've seen no signs (and if I don't see it, how could it be? 
) that the Bhutto supporters (or another group) has the weapons to start a civil war. I think Musharraf has proved that he is not intimidated by rock and bottle throwing.
I'm not sure that anyone else is willing to arm them. There are signs that ALL the people of the Middle East are getting sick of the endless warring.

dude I would'nt expect any lasting peace treaty in the M/E anytime soon, Its been this way since Isaac and Ishmael.

Which is why I don't see American troops coming home anytime soon. How can we get democracy in Iraq when those folks haven't been able to get along with each other for eons. Sadly, I wasn't surprised to read this news about Bhutto.

Your absolutely correct, but since the possibility exist that the entire M/E could implode and bring the rest of the World down with it what choice are we left with?

Are you sure that we can afford his involvement again? The Mujahedeen whom he supported in their fight of the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan evolved into the Taliban. Are we better off for it?

I'm betting, If ALL of our Military was over in Pakistan/Afganistan, looking for BIN-LADEN, LIKE WE WERE SUPPOSE TO DO, BEFORE EL-CHIMPO COOKED THE BOOKS ON IRAQ, that Maybe...Just Maybe what happened, might NOT have happened, while we WERE THERE !
