Congrats Michael Sam!

And for the record, when I created this thread months ago it was to congratulate Michael Sam not for his football playing talents but on his historic breaking of a barrier that is very near and dear to my heart, surely you can understand my personal investment in his success.
Exactly. It has nothing to do with him playing football, it has to do with him pushing your deviant agenda.

You and others seemt to like using that word as a descriptor as it it helps support your argument.  Everyone here knows that you and others are not using it in it's technical form as something being 'different' from the norm.  Were that the case the term would be much more widely used.  Biggots such as your self would fall under that category,  Virtually any minority belief would fall under that category.  And yet it is not used for them.  You do not call autistic children deviant.  You have not called any minorities deviant (at not that I have seen here on the board).  You seem to reserve it for gays.  You hate gays.  We get it.  You used to be in the majority.  You are not any more.  Your kind is loosing grip fast.  You are the modern day version of the KKK.  They used to be much more popular.  Used to be cool to hate blacks and other minorities.  ow they are underground and an over whelming majoity of the US laughs at them when they stick their head out.

You are the deviant here.  You hate.  You hate with no reason.  You should get used to the feeling of being laughed at and shuned.  You are the modern day pathetic version of the KKK.

The only agenda I see being pushed is one of equality.  I hope everyone keeps pushing it.

Signals, your attempts to define a group by their most extreme outliers is no more fair than defining all right wingers by the actions of Tim McVeigh. Stop painting with a broad brush, it only makes you look extreme and ignorant.

In case you missed it, I did not comment on this thread until YOU used the word 'deviant' to describe heterosexuals. I am well aware that your congratulations was a celebration towards "GAY-ety" I have no problem with that.

As far as twisting thing, well twist master Tree totally agrees with you so I rest my case. Using extreme examples does have merit when one depicts their lifestyle and beliefs as pure as you can get. So I suggest you get away from your vanity mirror and look at reality.

BTW, how do the children enjoy the NAMBLA float in the Frisco Pride Parade.

People Signals, do not believe that others should be allowed to live their life as they see fit.  They wish to limit their rights because they disagree with them.  So it does matter to people.  It matters to gays to see people like them succeed and flourish as an example for them and their children.  I know you do not get it or agree with it but that does not change the reality of it.
You are truly ignorant and continue to twist things as you see them through your permanent beer goggles. I am well aware that every form of freakishness and perversion exists on earth, because I have experienced life and for a time was in the mental health field. This alone would blow your comment out of the water.

But you are a moving target, sooooo....

I have no problem with who anybody is or what they do. I have a problem that it must be brought out in the open. By making one's behavior come out in the open, one must be prepared to face the consequences of their action. I have no problem with gays or their lifestyle, my problem lies that they have to let us in on it. By doing this, you really can't knock the true freaks that will look for rights based on their lifestyle.

Furthermore, where do you draw the line? If you accept one, you must accept the other.

BEFORE you jump all over Michael it might be wise to ponder a bibical concept or two.

1. Is that all are sinners. If those of you are so quick to pounce on Mr Sams you might want to ask yourself, Did I have sex prior to marriage? Have I cheated on my wife? How many Commandments have I broken?

2. Jesus tells us to hate the sin but LOVE the sinner. Given the various biblical references we can safely state that Homosexuality in indeed a sin. How many of you who profess to be "Christian" today are loving this sinner?

3. The church is a haven for sinners. Nit a rest home for saunts.

4. Finally there are the words of Jesus to Matthew, "Whatsoever you undo the Brethren you do unto me.

You and signals are both deviants too; there's no way you both happen to be 100% normal (you're both probably not 100% straight either, but that's not my business and quite another topic. But seriously, quit saying it-- you're being a hypocrite for calling people that when you yourself are as well

How about if the actions of someone do not affect your rights or the rights of others then mind your own business?

No idea why people think they have the right to tell consenting adults what they may or may not do.

Leave it to a libtard to concoct an argument using pure fantasy.

I'm going to stay with a theological perspective. Not to upset you as you feel differently, so please don't be insulted.

You can go back to the 5th Century to Augustin and the bibilical concept of free will for the basis for Natural Law.

The of course there is "Let he among you that is without sin cast the first stone. If you look at the majority of the actual words spoken by Jesus that are recorded in the bible you will se a very distinct path. Christ wasn't all that tuned up about sin. He spoke about hypocrisy far more thus the money lenders being thrown from the Temple.

Michael Sams may be a sinner but he's not a hypocrite.

I just LOVE breaking Right Wing Christians stones almost as much as I do Liberal hypocrites. Even Jesus admonishes Christians to be "In the world" but not "Of the world".

Leave it up to a conservitard to be under the delusion that their chit does not stink.

Not insulted at all. To each their own. I think it's a bit of a tomato tomahto thing. The end result is the same.

I do disagree with the Sam is a sinner thing. Not sure why someone would be a sinner if they they are born a certain way. Guess that's the rules of the religion but it does not make sense to me.

Guess that's why I'm not religious.

Well the "Sinner thing" refers to the biblical approach. My point is it seems that based upon the comments here that many of the so called Christians missed the part about foregiveness in Sunday School. Notice how quiet it got when I challenged people on THEIR misadventures.

Still looking in that mirror of vanity, huh? Funny but what you accuse Signals with, is what you are doing. I guess it's OK because nobody knows the troubles you've seen.

But continue to entertain me, by all means because you got me pegged! Bwhahaha!
