Obviously AA doesn't care about or for any excuses. You have 16 hours of your own time to sleep all you want, just to make sure you are awake and ready to give the company the 8 hours they hand you money in exchange for. 16 hours . . . that is a long time considering the average body needs only 7 to the 8 hours of recommended sleep. That is enough to get your recommended dose and work two 8 hour jobs or one 8 hour shift plus overtime for your employer who has every right to expect that you will not be sleeping on the clock.
If you don't like mids, don't work them. Those of you accusing the people who don't approve of sleeping on the job of never having worked mids are the ones with no clue. I worked a graveyard shift all through 4 years of college and two years of grad, and not once did I sleep on the job and it doesn't matter what the job is, it's still night work, right?
