The Judge can stop a strike, and CHAOS, but can he control, the chronic panic attacks, that all 9,000 F/A's , are about to have tonight??? Get out your Xanax, cause your gonna need it. I see Sick Days being burnt at an alarming rate. Good luck to all NWA employees. This whole thing is so unreal. 🙁

F/a's like all of this industry's workers, won't do squat! Airline employee's are whiners, wimps, and cowards. The End

I would call in scared. "I'm afraid I won't be there today."

Hello? Yes, Nadine? Are you the MSP scheduler? Good, this is JAFA, 239***, I need to call off SK for my trip today. The reason? Oh it's my vision. I just can't see myself flying today. BUH BYE

You can also tell them you have...

An@l Glaucoma, because you don't see your a$$ coming to work today!

Many can and will feel "ill" because of the ongoing events. It is certainly worth a co=pay for a Drs. visit. Sometimes it takes a while to get in for a psych visit. Make certain IF you use that issue you call your EAP and get your stress, depression, panic attacks documented while waiting for a visit. Document, document, document, Arguably, it could even be filed as a wc due to stress you've been experiencing.

They could call in with a severe case of OPTICAL RECTUMITIS. That is when you have a really $hitty out look and you just can't see yourself coming to work. I have seen extemely severe cases last up to 2 weeks. It is bad. just my thoughts.......

When I worked on my first flight (my airlines first flight into Boston after the nationwide shutdown) after 9/11, I was scared.

When I was in the air when AA went down in Queens and we didn't know if 9/11 was starting all over again, I was scared.

After the events in London this month, I was scared.

And the event on the NWA flight to India, I was scared.

And many, many more scary events.

The fact is after each and every event-I and my airline employee comrades showed up at work to do our jobs.

You sit at your computer, hiding behind your screen name and call us cowards? I guess you would know a coward.

Although a lot has happened in the 20+ years since I started flying-I still love my job. And I'm good at it.

But most importantly, should we have let the terrorists shut down the entire airline industry? Have you been on an airplane since 9/11? I'll bet you have. And if we didn't show up what were you going to do? Ride the bus?

I doubt it.

You missed the point of my post. It was directed at job actions and the unions failure to act. Nothing more. Believe me when I say I have much respect for people that face danger in their jobs. Flight crews being one. I am not blind to the current evil that surrounds us. The End
