Crew pass will be available at Phoenix Airport. The problem with this is a security breech of the US Airways Pilots by former america west pilots.

This crew pass gives pilots the ability to bypass security at the PHX airport. Social Security and passport numbers of thousands of original US Airways East pilots were stolen by former america west pilots from US Airways corporate computers by their own pilot managers. Go to a costume store and contact a former america west pilot and you can bypass security.

US Airways still has the former america west pilots employed at their airline. This is unacceptable.

Are you serious? If you think a costume store, SSN and passport number will get you through, you don't know much about the system. This just shows that the supposed breach is a non-event. BTW, I have had my identity compromised twice. A bit of a pain, but not as big of a deal as many say.

"US Airways
Tempe, Arizona BSO INSD

The US Airlines Pilot Association (USAPA) is upset that US Airways failed to reveal a breach of sensitive and confidential pilot information. A management pilot obtained and sent a sensitive database that contained the personal information of thousands of US Airways pilots. Names, Social Security numbers, and addresses were exposed. The database was given to a third party pilot group. The FBI has not determined the extent of the breach. A USAPA member said that there is a possibility that the sensitive information of pilot family members was also exposed since US Airways collects this information as well. US Airways also collects the credit card numbers of passengers, but there were no reports of this information being exposed by the breach.

USAPA has been working with the FBI since November of 2010 to determine the scope of the breach. It is possible that someone could use pilot passport numbers and residential addresses to pose as a pilot and create a threat to national security. USAPA is accusing US Airways of denying the breach and failing to discipline the employee responsible for the breach. US Airways has informed USAPA that it is relying on the assurances of the parties responsible for the data breach that the confidential information will not be misused."

He thinks so but that's a delusion...

Jim

One of the former chief pilots of america west recently took personal information of the former US Airways East pilots, including social security and passport numbers from a company computer, without permission. He handed this information over to a group of pilots from the west.

These three suspects have been on paid administration leave for more than 6 months. US Airways voluntarily offered to pay for Life Lock protection for thousands of East pilots.

How do you think this should be handled?

Certainly not by execution first and ask questions later - your preferred method...

Let's see - pay 3 west pilots to sit home certainly costs more than Lifelock for the easties...for a year...seems the company has decided which side is worth more...

Jim

PS - even USAPA has stopped claiming that passport info was handed over...but not Nosuma-pollo. Why let facts get in the way of a good delusion...

Evasive, my question;

"How do you think this should be handled? "

The pond is getting larger, you are not. Your big fish, small pond, gig is over.

I gave you three minuses , you are down to 1837, is it that easy?

This is a modern version of an old quote; "Do not (kill) give the messenger a negative rating, that brought you the bad news."

Empire, alpa fpl, identity theft handling? What a man you are.
