Crew Travel Question...

Nothing big or special in this.. just a question. I was wondering if flight crews were exempt from the 3-1-1 rule or if they had to comply with that when traveling on duty... thanks in advance for the info.

Crews are exempt, and it’s been discussed on here, FlyerTalk.com, AirLineCrew.net, etc.

Besides, you’d never hear the end of it if Floyd couldn’t bring his 40 ounce bottle of AstroGlide on trips.

Crews are exempt.... must be in uniform... and on duty...

Sometimes the DHS/TSA doesn't care whether you're in uniform or not, example at IAD...Crew Badge is needed tho.
