DL is reducing frequency out of CVG to the following markets in the spring:

BDL, CLT, EWR, MCI, MKE, PHL, RDU, RIC and STL

Interesting moves
 
DL is rearranging its DCI program

This is great DL is copying AA must be an excellent strategy

AA is flying one less widebody this winter from MIA to LAX, and that's an indicator of failure.

BTW, the number of ASM's coming out of CVG seems to be considerably more per day than AA's reduction.
 
e - great point on the MIA to LAX route - it is interesting how one can rationalize away DL moves however if AA makes the same move it gets trashed

DL's RJ capacity esp. to/from CVG is all over the board because of regional carrier recontracting, the same issue that E says is going on at Envoy.

I'm just looking for a quote where I said that AA was setting itself up for failure because of reduced widebody frequencies or overall capacity.

can you post it or not?

Last time we checked one wide body was reduced on LA to MIA - big deal - like you keep making it out to be
 
So let's see - one flight you are focused on between one city pair vs the 9 cities DL cut out of CVG - I was being kind as they also decreased CVG to DTW - looks like DL is struggling in CVG
 
uh... AS will have 15 total flights from SLC by next summer based on current published schedules... that's an increase of just a few flights from this past summer.

that would be less than some dominAAnt airline is reducing capacity in the winter from a certain major city in Florida to a major city in CA>
 
right still more than the reduction AA did in LA on one route
