That can't be right I know they want a 6 year contract are your rumors from a reliable source ? I would think chuck would have the best information as an officer, I'm thinking they will offer us at least the same pay raises as the pilots but probably not the 13% stake in the company.

Yet our International TWU will bring this back for a vote, oblivious to the fact that AA does not come out of BK without our agreement. VOTE NO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They held us hostage for 9 years,,,,,,what's the difference!

The company can come out of BK without contract agreements, they would like to have agreements because it helps them get financing to help them run the business but there is no requirement that they have to have contracts with the Unions to exit BK, not sure why you think there is.

Not really, only time I ever hear from them is during contract negotiations & the President's vote to bring offers back to the Membership not the International, the International is rarely a problem but sometimes they do meddle in Local business.
they don't bother me to much most day to day stuff is managed by the Locals.

No way Man it is the Local Presidents that Negotiate the contracts & vote on whether to send them to the Membership & it is the Membership that keeps buying the bad contracts that the President's send to us the International has nothing to do with that process.
Ultimately it is the Membership that is to blame for our contracts because were voting for them .... Ugh.

Dude the other Presidents are always complaining because Local 514 pres. carries more weight in the vote to bring back a contract because of his membership size, ask chuck & Bob if you don't believe what I said about how the negotiations are done, let's not get to carried away with the conspiracy thing & the bottom line is we are the ones who vote for or against contracts so ultimately were the ones who are responsible for what we get we can & should continue to vote NO until we get what we deserve.
