What's new

Debates

Is there another option?

Im not planning on watching so fortunately I won't have to worry about it.

I just do not see how Ronmey can come up with anything new. He has been running for POTUS for 8 years now. Is he now going to come up with something specific on how he will be different? He has run one of the worst campaigns in my memory.

The Republicans selected a weak candidate who chose to run on "I am not the other guy".

He has boxed himself in on so many issues. He is on record being for both sides of all major issues. Anything he says now or in the debates will be contradicting some former policy or statement he made in the past.

You (republicans) know this and will hold your nose and close your eyes while you defend and vote for him. The problem you have is that the independents will not. They are starting to coalesce. Romney is now being seen as the panderer he is (more so than our panderer in Chief). At least they know what they have with Obama.

They do know that Romney is not for the middle class. That is the only time they have seen him truthfully and passionately stating his belief (the 47% comments).

I think your boxed in statement is most relevant. Rodney has been for nearly every issue he is now against. I don't see how that wins but the republicans gave Bush an additional four years after he proposed he was incompetent so who knows what Nov will hold.

i think I I will wince from whatever either Obama or Romney say.

But I think ol' man Biden will take Lil' Ryan to the wood shed.

I'm hung up on the tax disparity between the wealthy and everyone else.

One question i would like asked is: when the armed forces are overwhelmingly staffed by the middle class and poor, when police, fire, emergency medical services personnel are overwhelmingly from the middle class and poor, when the very floor you are standing on was built by the middle class and poor, when scientific discoveries and technolical advancements have been overwhelmingly made by men and women from humble to modest backgrounds, how can you, mr Romney support tax cuts for the rich and spending cuts to education? And mr president, why didnt you fight harder to make the rich pay more knowing that when taxes have been levied against the rich in the past, economic prosperity has followed?

I would love to see specific questions asked that require specific answers. How do you plan on reforming the taxes and we want specifics. What cuts are you going to make and to what departments? How do you plan on dealing with Iran and we want specifics.

Debates never deal with specifics. They are infomercials for the candidates and I see no point to them.

Like Mitt or not, we need another direction from Obama's path. That's the issue.

My first question would be, "Barrack, exactly where did the 4 TRILLION dollars you've spent, in the last 3 1/2 years go and why does the economy still suck, after spending that 4 TRILLION dollars............................Oh, and where are that, 3 letter word, JOBS at !

"But I think ol' man Biden will take Lil' Ryan to the wood shed."

That is definitely the best line I've read all week ! Brahahaw.........................
