and its just just legal and illegal that makes things right or wrong. Cool thing, its called morals. Most people have them, google it.

morals can be defined a lot of ways.... and I can assure you that your basic assumptions about what airline industry morals should be built on won't agree with DL's.... you would never find it moral for DL to outsource some work in order to insource other work so you've made the point very clear that morals are highly subjective.

This is how i know you don't know what you are talking about. 
 
Delta isn't outsourcing work to insource MRO work. I know that was Tony's feel good tag line, but its hard to say Delta added MRO work to back fill airframe overhauls because what really happened is all the c-checks moved to ATL overhaul bays and DWH and TPA shut down. No backfilling there. 
The little airframe work Delta does in-house doesn't come close to backfilling ONE overhaul line being gone. The majority of the work is done around Delta work done in the MRO bays.

I AM saying that right now, DL doesn't have the space to do all the work on its own fleet plus do insourcing without outsourcing. Airframe overhauls take up the most space.

Feel free to tell me otherwise, but Tech Ops has very few days where there is space left in any bay for any significant period of time.

now if DL can crank MSP up and bring some airframe work back inhouse and do insourcing as well, it is a win-win all around.

Insourcing space has little to nothing to do with overhaul space. 
 
Delta would basically have to double the TOC plus a few bays to be able to bring overhauls in-house. The Insourcing side might have 3-4 bays a year of work.....

During the summer its not rare to see the hangar empty at time depending on whats going on. With the big shift of trying to do little to no checks during the summer and more RONs and RADs during the summer the hangar can be pretty empty. (but doesn't matter here because even if they did overhauls they would probably try to keep as much of it during the winter as possible.)
