If it doesn't happen because NW or DL labor doesn't want it to, fine, but when every carrier is bleeding cash because oil prices have never been higher for the government to whine is just ridiculous.

If it doesn't happen because NW or DL labor doesn't want it to, fine, but when every carrier is bleeding cash because oil prices have never been higher for the government to whine is just ridiculous.

Imagine a guy in congress not as worried about corporate profit and greed at the expense of customers and workers. We need less people in congress continuing to give tax breaks to oil companies and having baseball steroid hearings, and more people with a mind to serve the common man with a fair balance to corporations to build the economy.

However, Mike, Oberstar is not interested in the customer or the employees either. His panties are in a bunch because the headquarters of the merged operation is going to be Atlanta, not Egan, Mn. (is that correct?), and the name is going to be Delta, not Northwest. I bet that if the situation were reversed, he would be singing from a different hymnal entirely.
