That sounds good to me too. Any routes, equipment, etc. that DL puts out on the auction block (like Pan Am did during their 10 year self destruction), put in your bid and interview everybody you have to hire off the street. I can't think of any job that doesn't require an interview before hiring someone. I went through 2 days of tests and interviews to hire on with DL, and have gone through interviews for every position change I’ve had since. If US doesn’t interview new hires, … well, I guess that says a lot about who would apply to US.…I am just beside myself at how much they value their arrogance… I am thinking as others have suggested and been talking about these last few days,,, we should make them reinterview ( like they did pan-am ) and the ones we like we keep and the ones we dont - well there is always airtran out of ATL...
As for arrogance; the US people who’ve been posting here can’t be approached in their demonstrations of arrogance AND hostility. You are the aggressors. You are the ones performing an unwelcome, unwanted hostile act. You are the ones it is incumbent on to demonstrate how this is anything other than an attack with all the negative fallout going to DL. Until then, DL is the defender, and all your negativity, conceit, and haughtiness does nothing but reinforce the need to defend.
