Just wanted to get some feedback on your feeelings about Deltaterm VS Worldflight. Does anyone have on update us to when we will see one OPS System and which will it be....Also for those of you who have seen both, which would you rather use for loading bag numbers, ALIS OR FLIGHT?

I think the D-day for WorldFlight is April 2010. This was mentioned in DL's response to the NMB regarding the IAM's petition.

I have not used ALIS, but I can tell you that the few friends of mine that have prefer Worldflight.

Knowing where you're located, I assume you've used both? Which do you prefer, and why?

I have used both, I have been using Worldflight for almost a year now and just did ALA Training for ALIS a few months back.

ALIS is more interactive when it comes to seing your overall MAC and weight. You can see if your out of balance or overwight, especially when working with does damm Mad Dogs. It's a very simple system but i think this is the biggest problem casue any idiot can use it.

Worldflight is more Load Error safe, Only because you are forced to count bags, research your load and input bags and bin loactions with more attention to detail.

Excellent feedback. Thank you.

You can see if you're over grossed in WorldFlight, by using the DPWM entry (ie. DPWM 1064).

True, but you still first still need The Load Control worksheet and then run through the DDSG before that, ALIS is a bit faster, but faster is not alway faster........
