Frontier performance declines in December

Frontier Airlines said Friday that its financial performance in December was "less than anticipated," dampening results for the October-December quarter.

Wall Street analysts have been projecting a loss of 15 cents a share for the period, according to a Thomson Financial poll.

Denver-based Frontier filled 70.6 percent of its seats in December, down from 74 percent a year earlier. Its yield, a measure of average fares, slid 6.1 percent, and revenue for each seat flown a mile fell 10.4 percent.

Chum, apparently, F9 is having some revenue problems of their own too. It might be time to get ready to get the tires back onto your house before the 'repo' men come to take it away.

Hey we aren't any were near BK though LOL! When was UniTED coming out of BK????? Oh that's right they are still trying to settle contacts and could VERY well have some outside intervention REAL soon. I wonder just how much anyone from outside will really be interested in saving??? Maybe those overseas routes, kind of like what happened to Pan Am. I am really glad that I am not in your shoes!!!!!

LMAOOOOOOO!!!!!! Woof

Look....Fish wrote a poem:

Lookit mah bumper!
Mah fat wife sat on 'er!
She weren't like this when we got hitched
She didn't usta weigh more'n me
Now she's always a hootin' an'a hollerin'
Tellin' me ta fix the damn terlet
Gotta hide mah Playboys under the mattress
So I don't get another earful
From that heifer I call my wife
Now she just laughs in my face
When I say she looks like throw up
Three hunnerd pounds of cottage cheese
In a hunnerd pound bag
She hit me in the face the other day
And got on mer fer eye'n that sweet lil' piece o' ass
They got doin' sports on ESPN now
What the hell is wrong with the world
When a woman is tellin' me
What's what in the world o' NASCAR
And I'm gettin' an earful
From that hoss I call mah wife?

BUT

Sometimes she misunderstands

Where is anyone going to be able to go with the maximum of 2400 miles you can earn from this program?

Keep laughing in your ignorance, Fish and those like you.

The passengers can buy NR cheap tickets. Carrying the pets in cargo, particularly connections, often cost twice as much as the human paid. Sometimes more than twice.

Check your company costs for a 500-Vari-Kennel. Pick your own departure and destination city.

Multiply that by the thousands of American Kennel Club members who travel constantly to the dog shows. It will probably shock you, but most of them are flying 1 to 3 dogs each time. In individual kennels.

Then shut up with your goofy uninformed comments.

These people are NOT happy about these costs, and it now seems clear that the airline employees are the equivalent of Beavis and Butthead on this subject.

Why am I not surprised?

Jeesh, what IDIOTS!!!!

Frontier Airlines believes animals belong on airplane tails...not in the planes...apparently.

OK trip confirmed, lets see how many other companies follow UniTED's newest (dumbest) marketing ploy LOL. Hey when your broke as hell, I don't fault ya for trying to find a penny where ever you can! I can remember though the past few summers when UniTED wouldn't even fly peoples pets for the liability, amazing! What a management crew you got over there!!!!!

Umm, I'm not an airline employee, Genious.

And I never have, nor ever will say that there is anyone at United with a brain.

...isn't this actually a response to Midwest Airlines offering this? If that is the case...it might be that UA is concerned they will lose customers to Midwest...

Just got finished with the show in TPA this weekend (The final was on Animal Planet Sun night) and there were lots of dogs flying. Worked only 4 hours this afternoon and probably saw 30 or so kennels coming for security screening. Add into this the "not winners" who left yesterday and the others who left early in the day and it was probably easy to be 100 or more flying out. All this for 1 show. How many shows are on the normal curcuit in a year?
