EAA Young Eagles Passes 900,000 Milestone

On Thursday morning, May 15, EAA's Young Eagles office announced that Young Eagle No. 900,000 had been officially entered into the world's largest logbook. He is Michael Baker of Paden, Oklahoma, and he received his flight May 3 during an EAA Chapter flight rally at Thomas Municipal Airport (OK25) in Thomas, Oklahoma. The pilot was David Ames, EAA 439967, Young Eagle Coordinator for Chapter 1098, Shawnee, Oklahoma. (read more)
 
This is great news. I hope we can reach 1,000,000 before the 100th anniversary of flight. I have flown over 60 young eagles. Keep up the good work!
