Sorry, I can't offer up any confirmation....but I would like to know if they have plans to offer the same treatment to Acft schemes in regards to others we serve? , namely the Carolina Panthers , Pittsburgh Steelers , Washington Redskins?...and the Arizona Cardinals in an updated fashion reflecting the USAirways brand?

It was mentioned in an AboutUS newsletter this past spring. I can't find the exact update it was in but it said that they would be painting an A319 in Eagles livery later this year. They said they were considering painting planes in the Panthers and Steelers livery too.
As for our connection with the Eagles, we are the official airline for them. It was something US announced just prior to WN starting service to PHL.

I do remember that announcement but they have never come into DFW on a US airways plane.
got news for ya.......who do you think the Steelers charter with out of PIT?
Eagles maybe go with previous losers?

I realize that we charter for the Panthers and Steelers (perhaps the Cardinals out west as well??), but by being the official airline of the Eagles US gets "exclusive use of the team trademark in the airline category an exclusive signage rights at Lincoln Financial Field." Chartering for a team and being the official airline for a team are not exactly the same thing. I hope that they do paint a plane in the Steelers and Panthers livery as well, but they have to first be approved by the NFL before we can do so.
I have heard the rumor floating around the marketing department that yes, we are going to be painting a plane in an Eagles scheme. I also heard something about the Steelers and Panthers, but right now I'm pretty sure they're just going to do the Eagles.

OK for the Eagles, Steelers and Panthers paint schemes as they are NFL Football teams. I question the Cardinals plane, I am waiting for them to join the NFL. 😀
Maybe they ought to do one combined Pittsburgh/Indy plane...look like this? 😱
HP used to do the Cardinals charters, but the team opted for NW and there availability of wide bodies.. Hp is still the the official airline of the Cards, Diamondbacks. Whe did the charters for th d-backs in their playoff run in 2001.
When the Suns anoounced WN as their official airline the "Barney plane " quickly got a new coat of paint.
On a side note there is a charter company out of PHX called Sport Jet that does alot of baseball and football teams and cater to them with a very nice cabin and meal service

I like this scheme better than the U livery.
