Just received a call from a fellow agent at work, rumor is the compamy is offerring an early out opportunity to anyone at least 51 with 11 years of service to CSA.
Has anyone heard anything, I''ll be gone 53 and 16 years service. Please say it''s true.
Company can save and hire entry scale agemts.

I sure hope it is not a rumor, and that they offer it to all groups. If so...I'am outa here.[BR][BR]Jim

why offer an early out when they can furlough to the bean counter's hearts content, little chance of call back or acceptance of callbacks, and then proceed to hire cheap labor off the streets?

[P][/P]the only reason for that is the so they can hire off the street...retire topped out agts and start with bottom scale...furloughs reduce lower paid employess...[BR][BR]

..and a YES vote you get 12 more weeks if lucky(like after the last vote) before either more demands and ultimatums are made for more cuts.. or ..the doors close. Screwed either way folks.

Don't know who said it (Will Rogers, I think) and how right he was!

Here's the latest early out program. 1. Cut your pay 2. Make you work with less employees 3. Raise your premiums for benefits 4. Make you so miserable that quitting seems like the best alternative. 5. Hire a bunch of young punks who think the airlines would make a great career
