Now follow along closely. WWII was a bit different in several critical aspects.

1. It was the last declared war in US History. The rest post war had various Crony Capitalist influences beginning in Korea.
2. Entering WWII we used the Christian concept of a "Just War" as opposed to our current preemptive wars of the post war era.
3. We are now in many cases obligated by one or more of the 166 treaty obligations we now have.

As to taxes and infrastructure. We are overtaxed and under served. WHY? Refer to the above war mongering and the cost when diplomacy fails. Also refer to false flag wars started by the US as an excuse to engage in crony capitalism the world over.

Anyone ever stop to think how much money we'd have available if we decided not to be the world's Police? If we ended the war on drugs? Subsidies to any and all corporations engaged in business.

It is also NOT the role of the Federal Government to be in the infrastructure building business. We have a total of 50 other governments who have the taxing authority to build anything they damn well choose. Ditto for education. PA has 501 local school boards and they do not need help for the feds to construct and operate their government is my shepherd indoctrination camps, er schools.

Taxation beyond what is required to operate our country is legalized theft.

Maybe you should be the one following along a little more closely.

You stated that any US soldier ends up KIA they did so in service of crony capitalist and building an Empire.  I then asked you if Western Europe fit the description of our empire.  You answered in the affirmative.  Now how did we end up with that Empire in Western Europe.  World War II of course.  So then by your own definition the guys killed in that theater were doing nothing more than creating an Empire for the crony capitalists.

Of course those of us with an understanding of history know why we stuck around Western Europe after the war.  Mainly to avoid the mistakes made after WW I but also to prevent Stalin from expanding his empire.

the allies occupied Germany after world war1.. that didnt stop world war 2...

The USA didnt need to stay in Germany... the mistake of Versailles was the unpayable reparations the allies put on Germany... killing the economy of Germany is what brought to rise fanatics like Hitler...

Did the last US Soldier KIA do so fighting a country that the USA has issued a formal declaration of War?

The Treaty of Versailles is the reason we should have stuck around a bit longer.  Maybe if the US had used it's influence things might have turned out different.

Did the US servicemen killed in Europe die so the USA could expand their Empire into Europe at the behest of crony capitalists?  According to you they did.

We stayed to long. next time answer my question. I went over the concept of a "Just War" before and I have no plans to repeat it. Hitler declared war on the US first and we reacted. We were attacked by Japan and declared war.

Next please, now serving ....

Your own words, Western Europe is part of the American Empire.  And how was that Empire created?  By our role in WWII.  Try and spin it all you want but that's what you said.

Did you know that during WWII that Germany traded with the Crony Capitalists here in the US to the tune of half a billion dollars annually?

Our post WWII involvement in Europe led to NATO and the UN and God knows how many other damaging arrangements. The net result is we end up paying for their defense which sounds like an empire to me. The fact we entered into war with a formal declaration is key as we as a nation made the decision.

NATO was a damaging arrangement?  NATO is what kept Joesph Stalin and his successors at bay.  If NATO had not been created and the US pulled out of Western Europe Stalin would have filled that vacuum and the people there would have found themselves under the thumb of another dictator.  Then the sacrifices made in blood and treasure would have been in vain.

Maybe your okay with that.  Maybe in your eyes then those who died at least did not do so creating an Empire for crony capitalists.

Stalin was pretty busy, killing around 50 million of his own people. My crystal ball is on the fritz so I don't know what might have happened. I'll leave you with this.

While he was killing all those people he also found time to invade Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland and Finland.  Add to that in countries that there were no US troops what do you think happened?  Did Stalin allow those countries to determine their own fate?  Or did he occupy them and install puppet communist dictatorships that oppressed the people?  To think that Stalin would have left Western Europe alone in our absence ignores historical precedence.
