His excellency can not pardon Himself for state crimes. If He wants to issue 'get out of jail free ' cards, He is within the parameters of His constitutional powers. Write your congressman.

Well, the bottom line here is that potentially, the SCOTUS could through out the collective electors of those four States which amount to 62 electors! If that happens, neither candidate will have reached the magic 270. Now here's where it gets interesting! If that happens the election will be decided in the House of Representatives!....... Now will all this come to pass? ........ Who knows?

Many state legislatures give the secretary of state that power. I will be surprised if the Texas case is even heard, although they might to appease the Trumpsters and perhaps keep them from taking up arms, even after the deny the case.

Also, the four states they are suing had mail in voting available to everyone...no excuse required.

Yep...15 of the 17 states that joined Texas did the same thing the states being sued by Texas did. Wouldn't it be cool if they win this case that the results of THOSE states are thrown out too. That would cost Trump 94 electoral votes (at least).

Well rob, there are at least 18 other States Backing this suit, and growing! Now that alone puts more weight (pressure) on the SCOTUS to except the case! It has been given a docket number which means they are at least looking at it! "Abuse of power"? Hell no! They are perfectly within their right to do so! Well it go anywhere? Frankly I believe there is merit in it!....... But time will only tell!
