bmi is offering a fare sale on its daily transatlantic flights from Chicago to Manchester for travel April 1 through June 10, 2006 for $239 each way in economy, $489 in premium economy and $1489 in business class. The fare sale begins today through Feb. 16, 2006. To London and the Scottish cities of Aberdeen, Edinburgh or Glasgow, via Manchester, the fare each way is $255 in economy, $505 in premium economy and $1505 in business class.
A stopover in Manchester in either direction on the London or Scottish fares is permitted at no additional cost.
These sale fares are non-refundable and require three nights or Saturday overnight stay. Changes can be made after departure for a $150 fee. Children's fares are also available at a reduced rate. The fares each way are based on required roundtrip purchase and exclude taxes and service fees that vary from $100 to $210, depending on the fare class. Tickets must be purchased within 72 hours of making a reservation. There is a blackout period from between April 11 and 22 due to the holiday season.
