I'm flying tomorrow from LGA to AUG , I connex thru BOS my flt from Bos leaves at 1005am
when I go to list they show the first flt from LGA leaving at 9am
So I have to make seperate listings showing a 9am dep from LGA and the another one
for my 1005am from BOS.
There are flts from LGA at 6 7 and 8 am but dont show on ETC.
Now when I get to the airport tomorrow morning I'll have to have an agent change my LGA
dept
I was online 45 min untill I gave up. Called the employee line BUSY.
What a peice of #### this system is.
Now the 8am flt showsBut Microsoft Excel shows that they saved $100 million dollars! Get over it!!
Open seats...? Remember the old days? Computer aint working then TAKE ANY OPEN SEAT....quite simple. Inflight does a head count....? Non revs should not be left behind-using the sytems lack of..whatever...is not an excuse to leave us behind....go the extra step people and if you know ya have open seats send your non revs. These poor agents are so frustrated and confused with the boarding and closing of the flights that they are being forced to leave with open seats though standby's and nonrevs are waiting to get on. It absolutely stinks. I think THAT more than a lot of other stuff really got to me over the past few days working.
That's when you physically hold open the airplane door and tell the agent we are not going ANYWHERE until the 8 remaining seats are filled. Done it a few times; never heard boo from anyone. Usually, after I say that, I tell the Captain, and 9 times out of 10 they will go up to the boarding area and make sure non revs are processed. Stick together, people.Totally agree. I was flying A and did my headcount to find we still had 8 open. I asked the agent if anymore nonrevs were out there and she said a few. I told her to send them down and she said, "I'm sorry I can't the tower instructed me to push this flight off NOW". A flight attendant nonrev onboard said there was a gentleman sitting there in a F'n wheelchair since 1pm that needed to get on a flight to TPA. We made sure they ALL got on. Because this system is NOT working does not mean we leave our people behind. Without us this company would not move. I wonder if they will ever get the ETC working right. What the hell did they do to it anyway? Unplug something? Plug it back in.![]()
It is as the girl said in the 3/22 crew news session, "I feel like I don't even HAVE flight benefits anymore".
You are right on the money! I am a gate agent in PHL and if I could put non-revs in the blue room and standing in the cockpit like the old days I would do it! What moron employee would leave anybody behind! Just tell them the plane doesn't move until ALL seats are full!! Good for you!
