I think I know who you are referring to, but may I ask why you care? Are we not allowed to have second jobs, as long as they don't interfere with USAir's interests (ie another airline)?

Doesn't seem to me like M&M peddlars create a conflict of interest to an airline.

The Ethics were located in the FWD section, but have been removed to make space for more seats. The flying public is not willing to pay for ethics.

While we're at it, can they make F/As stop selling thier cheap trinkets at the OPR table? There is one table in the crew room, and four people on OPR who'd probably prefer the table to sitting on the floor or leaning against a wall for four hours. The last thing they want to see is a pillowcase with a bunch of janky bracelets on it covering the table. Who buys that cheap crap? I must pass several gumball machines on the way to work, so if I was inclined to purchase a ring that will make my finger turn green and fall off I'd have done so already.

I think you missed the point.

Please enlighten me?

Check out pg 9 of the Business Conduct & Ethics policy. Seems like the company would like the final say on "any" employment you would happen to have outside the company?

Pay us a decent wage and most people would not be required to work numerous jobs!!!!

If we are all talking about the same person, they have been doing this "side job" for years.. way before paycuts, and even before they were employed at US (?)... Therefore, I am sure the company knows about it, and again, I say, what's the big deal???

If the employees are not being gouged on prices I see no problem.

OUCH CHOP.....Certainly not far from the truth now huh? I can see being called into the office over something where "ethics" comes into play. I'd say, "Hmmm ya know I sort of felt the same way when I was sitting in the gate area when CNN had my CEO's face all over it". Ethics? 🙄 Yeah anyway. As far as the M&M's they are cheap and tasty.
