While I agree about the embarrassing CEO issues, the thread was about a certain person having a second job. Does Doug have a second job that we do not know about?

While we're at it, can they make F/As stop selling thier cheap trinkets at the OPR table? There is one table in the crew room, and four people on OPR who'd probably prefer the table to sitting on the floor or leaning against a wall for four hours. The last thing they want to see is a pillowcase with a bunch of janky bracelets on it covering the table. Who buys that cheap crap? I must pass several gumball machines on the way to work, so if I was inclined to purchase a ring that will make my finger turn green and fall off I'd have done so already.

I love cheap rings that turn my finger green. Where is this treasure trove? Maybe I can sell some miniature shampoo, conditioner, and soaps--I've got lots of those. The homeless shelter where I usually donate them probably don't need anymore for a while.

EMBFA's many previous posts tell a story of a hardworking f/a. You've been around long enough to know that.
Caustic, hilarious posts (no, I don't agree with all of them but that's the idea of a board, isn't it?) point out that she cares. A LOT.
"Slacker" is not a description I would have ever attributed to her. In your case ignorance seems to be bliss.

You are correct. The board obviously is a group of Progressives debating. With that said, the logic goes out of the window, along with any common sense. Progressives speak through emotion only, and God forbid common sense comes into play. God forbid I used God in a sentence. Now they will be really upset.

Slacker is completely appropriate. I have been around long enough, you are correct. I see everday front line employees dressed liked gang members straight out of the hood. The fact is, most front liners are now sloppy and have no interest in their position. And do not use the "if the the company treated employees better" slogan. These are people that were hired knowing the pay scale and working conditions. When you as an individual accept a position with a company, you also accept the responsibility. If you do not care for it, the door is right there. Nobody is holding you back but yourself, and only you can control your destiny. Running an airline is not and never will be a glamorous job.

I know that "progressive" and "liberal" seem to be big words for slack-jawed drooling zombies who "support" the thieves in the White House but they may wish to limit themselves to words of three letters or less or break down and actually start using a dictionary. If this applies to you, then take it in the gentle manner that it was proffered. 🙂
