Yes, you are right, AND the IAM too, for Years of allowing AA and United to outsource so much friggin' work, when instead of allowing it, a nice JOB ACTION would have caught their attention.
You may say that too many so called union men, would show up regardless, because they're addicted to their overtime. OK, I get it, then use a tried and true method that UA flight attendants worked to perfection, called Chaos all around the system. Spot HIT a hub at an unknown time. Trust me, they'll get the message, but NO, D-heads in places like IAH/UA or DFW/AA or CLT/AA, would never play ball. Fine. No problem. But if cities like BOS/BDL/LGA/JFK/PHL/ORD/SEA/SFO and LAX had no one to work flights FROM weak-kneed mentioned hubs, trust me UAL/AAL would have thought twice before given 'stuff away' ! If push comes to shove and let's hope it won't,....... don't look to either TWU or the IAM to have any backbone. The IAM had it, but lost it years ago! The TWU, never had it to begin with!....... From someone who paid dues to both!
