I have been an advocate of these Combo's from Day One. DL/CO was considered in the past and I think that may be the reason DL pulled down DFW (in hopes of having IAH) and would love to bail on a nasty operation at JFK. AA needs the Asian routes of NWA but would really slash most of the other domestic operations. US/UA is a good match and keeps the Star Alliance gurus happy around the globe. As employees, we are nothing more than pawns in "the Game". This industry has seen alot of changes over the years, seen the grand names of the industry (Pan Am, TWA ,Braniff & Eastern disappear) and will evolve yet again. Bottomline is have loyalty to WHO sends you a check.......REGARDLESS of What it's Name IS, otherwise Get Out!
