F/A Transfers Given then Taken Away!

All I can say is that I received a Transfer after over two years trying to get out of NY, then in a matter of 10 days the compAAny rescinded, just today, on it's offer. I have moved Every time to my bAAse, and am currently in the process of moving to my new base when this happened....MY LAAwyer is Loving this....Me not so much!!! Is AA, and the APFA really that Incompentent?, and you really want the lawsuits to stop? Sorry!! You don't do this to human beings...,but of course, at AA you are just AA number!!

How is APFA responsible for your transfer being taken away?

Since only mutual transfers are being awarded, to the best of my opinion, it sounds like whoever you were matched up with either didn't respond, or said no. That happens a lot, and we, as flight attendants, only have ourselves to blame for that.

You are correct the F/A's ie...the APFA are the only ones to blame for this...However, who is paying the bills NOW that I am ( in process ) of moving for a 5th time for this job? Let me guess, not you! You are one of those "fortunate" ones who have never endured what us "junior ones" have such as; Furloughs, Forced Transfers etc... Common sense tells all...You don't award someone a transfer, tell them you have to report the first of the month to your new base, then in the middle of the month ( almost the middle ) take it away from that person...Let's see a judge deal with this one.

Actually, I must give the AAPFA some credit, they actually agreed that THIS IS WRONG...However, on this board unless you have 12, or more years seniority nobody really cares what happens to you..My response? Let a Jury decide!!

Remember, If I was an international F/A...Things would be different, eventhough, we work for the saame company.....Tell that to a court of law!!

Do you think I could really " makeup " what I just posted ? Give me a break...WAAKEUP...Why would you even think I could make this up? Of course, unless you have no idea what has been happening since th RPA, which isn't uncommon for the typical F/A at AA or the APFA...It's only about yourself at this airline, and nobody else. Flyboy, this thread confirms (for me at least) that straaight is a very bitter, disgruntled, lonely, and possibly psychotic person... He-she, was bashing me on another thread for posting my opinion. BTW - I hope you get your x-fer. It doesn't seem right, that they can rescind after putting a x-fer through.. Although, I don't know how the AA system works for transfers..

Thank you donttouchthebeatuy for your support...The irony of the whole mess is that I could have easily held the regular x'fer out of LGA to ORD, but didn't bother putting my name on that list because of the slt transfer that I "Was" granted. I care about others and wouldn't, nor did I take a spot on that list knowing I "Supposedly" had this Xfer.

Also, I don't blame Straaight for their Ignorance..The reality of the situation is that this person doesn't really care about anyone then themselves!
