As for US being almost gone....DO YOU EVER READ THE WSJ.....???? Did anyone take the time to do a video for USA.....??? Why not if you have such a great history....maybe that will be my next video. Have any music I could put in it....?

I'm so sorry that in doing so, you were subjected to criticism. I remember you from America West, and I have flown with Marty several times. Both of you were so wonderful to share your memories with us and to produce the video. I know how much the video means to everyone on the America West side of US Airways. Thank you.

The real HP airline was way more than portrayed in this stupid video, sorry! :down: Let it rest. We had a lot more class, and way more employees that weren't included! The real America West Airlines ended in '94! Beauvais and Conway were the founding fathers of HP!!! 🙂 Franke ruined it all, and Dougie contiuned the bad legacy, and now we are US Airways! 🙁 :down:

You’re the sad story....from the email's I have been getting about you. LOL 😉 I really don't check this site very often....but when I do...I will answer back when need be.


As for the shrinking plane....when I first did this video....that is how I felt. If I was to do it now...I would have left it out. I realize both sides are getting the bend over and smile treatment. As a matter of fact I am working on another video.....but it has to do with the history of US Airways........I go all the back to the "All American Airways"....and thats way back. These things take a long time to put together...and with the help of a few friends who work for and some retired from US Air I am getting it together. When it is put together I shall ask the US Airways folks for music choices. But as I said....that will be down the road. 😎

I would say, something with survivor in it. That is what we are. Hopefully, merging with AWA won't ruin that. We took a big chance taking you on, but hopefully, it won't be a final nail. We don't need a video, we have been there, done that. If that video helps you folks, thats great. Whatever gets you through the day.

I think the video is well done. Too bad it's being crapped on right now. One thing I've learned about this EAST/WEST, HP/US thing is that it is very much like religion and politics, two things you shouldn't argue about, because you'll get nowhere in doing so. Everybody's right, everybody's wrong, but you should dog this woman's video 'cause you got screwed by your companies. The one positive thing in this whole forum and it's getting attacked. :down: shameful

Who needs a crutch or in this case cane?? (Well besides the CLT T/A crews) I happen to like aviation history and can appreciate it's purpose. Also it's not my video as I wasn't at AWA. I know as well as you do that U is the airline that doesn't want to go away as I too am on of those hard working employees that have been through so much and still going strong... God bless our heart!!!!!!!!! My pay and benefit cuts saved this place too!! and being on RSV almost my entire career in a base where my age of 33 is considered to be a "baby" isn't really what I consider amazing. It's time for change around here and I mean "change" in every sense of the word from management to the union right on down to certain employees that should've left with the Genie Trays!!!!!!! People are tired, physically and mentally sick and tired and if that video gives them some enjoyment then I'm all for it. Then again I'm still young and good looking enough to move on if that's what I see fit to do.
