Wow...Southwest just can't win. They are heartless for charging obese folks for two seats, they are criticized for "flip flop wife beater" passengers, drunks. Then...they show airline where they turn away drunken, or stinky passengers. I found the school marm's pictures on her myspace page...although she wasn't too school marmish in those. In fact, I would imagine that there just might be something to the talk that "Princess Kyla" may have "pulled a Britney" on board.

But you know brown...I've flown a lot...and only on one airline (America West aka USAir) did a passenger emerge from the lav and announce to the entire rear cabin that she'd "lost 10 pounds in there". Also...you comment "I've flow Southwest a few times" leaves one to question...if they are so bad - why fly them at all?

Actually I don't recall me calling them bad there genius. When I travel for business the company purchases the ticket and I fly. I actually enjoy for the most part flying SWA, simple, always on-time and a friendly staff. As for the negatives I think not running a APU when it is 100 degrees out in Sacramento with 135 people on the plane is a bit cheap...Yes it is true they are very cheap on APU operations this crap of fuel savings should be thrown out the door when it is that hot out with no ground air cond. It cost $ 242.00 dollars in fuel/mtc cost to operate an APU in a 767 for one hour, so a 737 must be well under 200 bucks an hour, start the dam thing 15 minutes before departure instead of 5 minutes before departure and get the cabin cool.

So there you have it I will continue to fly them like I said I like em....

I just don't see what was wrong with her outfit. Her skirt was a a bit short, the only thing I can think of is that maybe she was pulling a Britney Spears and not wearing undies but then WN should have said that. I think she's a pretty hot looking woman. I wish I could pull off wearing the same outfit but sadly it would'nt be so flattering on me, though I do the Gym club thing three times a week.

So you are now saying this young lady was denied boarding due to her myspace page? Did she present her myspace page for travel on SWA or did she present the outfit that was pictured on the NBC show? If you are going to say those that have had racy photos are not allowed to board an SWA flight you might see a large drop in pax volume. I just love the moral police that want to chastise this lady.

Is this lady really dressed any more provocative than some of those old SWA advertisements with the hotpants girls? While our F/A's don't have the greatest getups in the world the SWA High School Gym Teacher outfits they currently wear are ree-darn-diculous. They look they should be carrying clipboards and whistles or at the least leading a group of kids to the cafeteria.

Come to think of it, I have seen some pretty bizarre photos of Herb and some of them would probably gotten him kicked off if SWA applied the same level of misjustice as in this case.

What would United do if a girl in a short skirt was shooting the beaver to boarding passengers for some sort of thrill...and that offended another passenger? I don't know that she did that...then again, you don't know that she didn't (other than what she put on her 15 minutes of fame TV appearances). So tell me...If I'm in the mood for a voyeuristic rush, and I know that UAL won't ask her to deplane, I might start flying UAL again.

There are no reports otherwise that she was baring it all, that has become the urban legend of this story. Bury her reputation by saying she was a Hooters girl, she had a racy myspace ad, etc. Doesn't matter what she did before or does after that flight. The only issue at hand is whether or not she was appropriately attired for a SWA flight. In lieu of there being no offical dress code at SWA for passenger she will most likely become much richer due to the employees ineptness.

I would like to know why someone would be staring at her and then become offended? If you are averse to seeing long legged blondes in short minskirts then don't look Ethel. Just eat your sno-cone.

As for what or what did not appear underneath her skirt that is up for someone other than ourselves to determine. However, SWA was completely out line and will most likely suffer another ugly lawsuit.

Again, if you don't want to see something then don't stare at it.

SMF is a gate services city. They do not run the apu unless there is something out of the ordinary happening to warrant keeping it running...
