Can anyone provide any details on the tragic ramp acident in ORF this weekend?
News reports are rather sketchy, but it happened on pushback.

As a long time ago ramper I wish to extend my deepesy sympathy to her family, friends, and co-workers.

As a US employee, my heart also goes out to this family and NW.
If anyone knows more about how this happened I would love to know so hopefully we could prevent it from ever happening again.

i am the son of Denise (Dennie) Bogucki the NWA employee that was killed at ORF station 12 Sept 2003
the details of her accident are under investigation... we don't know much more than that. However, i do know there is much more, in the sense that comments had been made at the station by the employees of how unsafe they felt the working conditions were...

Using the death of a ramp worker to try and make some point that has absolutely nothing to do with this?
My point is very clear, You union guys are a bunch of radical hype that are dangerous. You guys slap each other on the back claiming you are above everyone else when in fact you are as fallible if not more so than a Scab ever will be.

What you just posted had absoulutely nothing to do with what I typed. I award you no points, and the entire board is now dumber for having read your reply.

I like to think of it as ENLIGHTENED. 🙂

Yea well "enlighten" us somemore on that awesome record NWA maintenance has since the strike began.

How many replacement mechs? How many violations?

Most of us here already know the answer but why don't you tell us anyway.

You sick f**k.

There are (and never have been) AMFA employees in ORF.

Now...Please explain how the death of one of my colleagues is "enlightening."

Your little anti union campaign has hit a pathetic new low. Even you can do better than this.

did they ever find out what actually happened in ORF that day? My sympathies go out to her and her entire family.
