Fleet Plans

While AWA is receiving new Airbus aircraft, they are also losing aircraft as leases expire. As they said in this year's annual report:

"Assuming the exercise of all put options [leasors can require an extension on the lease - Jim], as of December 31, 2004, 52 aircraft have lease expirations prior to the end of 2008."

Obviously, that number can change thru negotiations with the leasors, but so far the fleet count has followed that in the annual report - it said they expected to have 148 airplanes on 12/31/05 and the fleet plan on 8/31/05 also anticipates 148 at year-end.
