AMR-American Eagle notified the APFA on Wednesday that they were hiring Flight Attendants. If you are furloughed and are interested in becoming a Flight Attendant for American Eagle, please visit the Furlough Page of the APFA Web site or aacareers.com.

The top three base choices from the following (BOS, DFW, LAX, LGA, MIA, ORD, and SJU (Spanish speaker required) You will not be required to give up your American Airlines recall rights if hired by AMR American Eagle.

Hi Mikey
Just wanted to let you know and the rest of the F/A's that are interested in flying at Eagle that in SJU you are NOT required to speak another language...we have so many F/A's that are from the USA & US Virgen Islands that don't know a second language.
I don't know if they will be looking for F/A's in MIA as of yet, the company just offeres 20 voluntary furlouges in addition to 30 in the past months and displaced some down to SJU among other bases. But if MIA is what the company is offering they better recall back all those f/a's!.
